Camper Helena - I am a huge fan of Camper shoes,
having bought "Sophia" and a pair that
looked just like "Helena" in Europe.
The shoes I bought in Europe were made in Spain.
These shoes are made in China, and I am afraid
are not nearly as comfortable, nor do they run
true to size. The Campers I bought in Europe fit
like a glove, were comfortable as silk the first
day, and were size 39. I ordered "Helena"in
39, and they were a whole size too small. (I
re-ordered and purchased a 40, which fit fine.)
I never got blisters from my Euro Camper heels,
but these gave me blisters the first day. The
leather is stiff, and the rubber soles do not
have the same feeling of "give." All
in all, I was disappointed that these are not
the same shoe as my beloved Euro Campers, but
they still are a solid, functional dress shoe
with some level of comfort, after you break them
in. "
