They look good, but aren’t very comfy- I
really like the look of these light hikers.
It’s hard to find shoes like this that
aren’t hideous. But looks aren’t everything,
and after wearing these things for about 4
months, I have to say I am a bit disappointed.
As others have said, the stitching in the toe
can be very uncomfortable at times. I thought
they would wear down over time or I would get
used to them or something, but such is not the
case. It’s not horrible, but annoying all the
same. The heal pocket fabric has ripped in both
shoes also, even with tight laces, and minimal
slipping. I am very impressed with the
"Waffle Stomper" soles, however, as
they offer great traction on most surfaces.
These shoes are a paradox. They look great (in
my opinion) and have traction to spare, but the
comfort level is questionable. "
